LETTER PRESENTED BY THE CHAIRMAN NORTHERN SPEAKERS FORUM AND SPEAKER KADUNA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, RT. HONOURABLE YUSUF ZAILANI ON CONDOLENCE VISIT TO COMRADE SILAS ADAMU’S RESIDENCE ON THURSDAY MARCH 11, 2021

It is with heavy heart and great sadness that I voice out this message of condolences to.the family, associates, friends and colleagues of a great citizen of NIgeria, Comrade Dr. Silas Adamu who was snatched away from us by the cold hands of death on Monday March 11, 2021 through a ghastly car accident on Kaduna-Abuja Highway.

It is more saddening that the same tragic incident left us not just mourning only a man of peace, but his wife, Mrs. Mercy Silas G
Adamu and his beloved daughter, Miss Joy Kubai Silas G. Adamu.

Kaduna Mourns three gentle souls that have all impacted on their communities.

As President General of the Tsaunin Kura GRA Residents Association (Sabo GRA), Comrade Silas Adamu was able to inspire followership that has united residents of the area.

I have on several occasions interacted with him.on the needs of the Sabo GRA, with roads and drainaiges been his top priorities, and his zeal made me assure him that the Kaduna State Government will prioritize their demands in this year’s Infrastructural development.

I also learnt that as President of Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA), he was commited to peace building among the Atyap, Hausa and Fulani in the community.

I further learnt it was in furtherance of the peace initiatives he left Abuja for Kaduna for a proposed meeting before meeting his death.

Comrade Silas was a man of many positive contributions to our dear State and NIgeria. As Secretary General of Medical Health Workers Union of NIgeria (MHWUN), his desire to ensure workers welfare was felt throughout the country.

I console the Agwatyap, HRH Dr. Dominic Yahaya, Sabo GRA, ACDA, MHWUN and his immediate family, friends and colleagues on this collosal loss.

We pray God Almighty grants his soul and that of his wife and daughter eternal rest.
