GOVERNMENT WILL RELOCATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH AND TECHNOLOGY FROM MUBI TO MICHIKA -GOV. AUF
Adamawa State government will soon relocate College of health and technology Mubi back to its original site in Michika as stipulated in the act establishing the institution.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri disclosed this in Michika in response to calls by people of the area for immediate relocation of the institution to Michika so as to bring the development and job creation in the area.
He promised to renovate and equip General Hospital Michika with state-of-the-act facilities and build roads network across Michika local government to ameliorate their transport difficulties and boost the economy.
Speaking earlier separately to traditional rulers, religious leaders and elders of Michika local government, Governor Umaru Fintiri charged them to partner government and security agents in maintaining peace and tranquility in the area and environs.
He sympathized with the people over recent security challenge of Boko Haram in the area and assured them that government is doing everything possible to securing the area and Adamawa from activities of miscreants and all other forms of criminality.
The Governor had also addressed various youth groups in Michika where he assured them of his administration’s readiness to provide them jobs and enjoined them to complement government’s effort in maintaining peace in the area.
In their separate responses, Spokespersons of the groups, applauded Governor Umaru Fintiri for quick response of government during the recent tragedy in the area which ensured that the Boko Haram insurgents did not succeed in attacking the area.
They commended the achievements of the present administration and expressed their unalloyed loyalty and support to Governor Umaru Fintiri for development to thriving in Michika and Adamawa in general.
