NGO donates vehicle, gadgets to Kaduna Vigilante Service

 

An Non Governmental Organization, ‘Bamaje Foundation’ has donated a motor vehicle and communication gadgets to the Kaduna State Vigilante Service in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

 

Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the Kaura Local Government Council Secretariat, the Administrator of the Local Government, Mr Yakubu Kanwai El-Buje described the gesture as heartwarming.

 

Mr El-Buje appealed to well- to -do people of the area to emulate the exemplary philanthropic conduct of the donor and assist security agents in securing the area.

 

Also speaking the Chief Executive Officer of Bamaje Foundation, Mathew Jerome Bature said the donation is intended to compliment Government effort in fighting crime and criminality to ensure that all communities are safe for the free flow of legitimate activities.

 

Mr Bature expressed the hope that the vehicle and the communication gadgets will be used for the purpose they are intended.

 

Responding on behalf of the Vigilante Service, the Commandant, Reverend Ajiat appreciated Bamaje Foundation for the good spirit, describing the gesture as quite rear.

 

He said the group is rendering voluntary security service to the community and requires assistance to enable it achieve set objectives.

 

Reverend Ajiat appealed to the Administrator of the Local Government to consider the possibility of assisting the security group in maintaining the vehicle, especially fueling.
