Governor Aminu Bello Masari has requested police to deal decisively with people spreading falsehood through the social media on the current insecurity, even if they members of the present administration in the state.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari was speaking when he received the Assistant Inspector General of Police,AIG Sadiq Abubakar Bello who paid him a courtesy call at government house, katsina.
The Governor explained that government was happy with the handling of criminality by the police in the past.
He however requested the not to continue with the lenient posture to the bandits in the state.
He assured that government would continue to support the police to discharge its mandate in the state.
Earlier, the Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG Zone one Kano, Alhaji Sadiq Abubakar Bello said he was in katsina to familiarize himself with the Division.
He commended Governor Aminu Bello Masari for the support to officers and members of the force in the zone.
