Wamakko felicitates with ex-Dep Gov, Chiso, on appointment as NPC National Commissioner
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defence and Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Anti Corruption, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has felicitated with a former Deputy Governor in Sokoto State, Alhaji Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo, on his recent appointment as a National Commissioner of the National Population Commission ( NPC).
Chiso, was sworn-in on Wednesday, 28th October, 2020, by President Muhammadu Buhari, alongside the Commission’s National Chairman and ten other National Commissioners.

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko made available to Journalist.
Senator Wamakko, also a former Deputy Governor and former Governor of Sokoto State said that, the appointment of Chiso is well deserved , sequel to his temendous wealth of experience, patriotism, dedication,piety and honesty.
Wamakko,who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District, also expressed optimism that, the new National Commissioner will bring his vast wealth of experience to bear on the activities of the Commission.
” This is more so as he was a former Director of the Commission. His appointment will surely bolster the success of all it’s activities.
” So, his appointment is a also a home coming for him and he will impact positively in the all-important activities of the Commission,” Wamakko, added.
