Governor Aminu Bello Masari has emphasized the need for judicious utilization of donations received in respect of Covid-19 in the state.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari made this remark when he received the North West Zonal coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency+NEMA , Alhaji Abbani Imam Garki who paid him a courtesy call at government house, katsina.
Alhaji Aminu Masari reminded officers that will work with the tools to ensure optimal utilization of the materials.
He committed the management of NEMA for making donations to fight Covid-19 in the state.
Alhaji Aminu Masari directed coordinator to provide reports on the donated items, a copy of which each should be made available to state government, the state office of Emergency Management Agency-SEMA, the state ministry for local governments and the local governments in the state.
Earlier, the Zonal coordinator of the Agency, Alhaji Abbani Imam Garki told Governor Aminu Masari that he was in his office to brief him on donation of Medicaments from NEMA in respect of fight against Covid-19.
He expressed the hope that the items would be used for the purpose for which they are donated.
The coordinator was accompanied by a Relief officer in the zonal office, Alhaji Ajmad Abdullahi and the zonal Public Relations Officer-PRO, Hajiya Baraka Hamisu Isah.
