NCYP Congratulates President Tinubu on Tax Reform Law

The Northern Christian Youth Professionals (NCYP), as frontline advocates for tax reforms from Northern Nigeria, warmly congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the signing of the Tax Reform Bill into law today. We also commend the National Assembly, State Governors, and the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform Committee for their vital roles in this milestone.

This new law lays a solid foundation for boosting Nigeria’s economy by simplifying tax processes, expanding the tax base, and creating a more business-friendly environment. It is a critical step toward economic recovery, job creation, and improved public revenue.

We urge all stakeholders, especially the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), to ensure proper and transparent implementation. The real success of this reform will be measured by how well it delivers on the promises made—by improving lives and livelihoods across all parts of the country.
