The deputy speaker of the Katsina state house of assembly, hon Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki has described the recent appointment of senGeorgeator Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a good omen to Nigeria with the prospect of fostering unity of purpose and catalyst for good governance.
In a statement issued to journalists in Katsina, Hon Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki while commending the President as well as the leadership of the All Progressives Congress for the gesture, remarked that Sen George Akume’s contribution to national development surpassed almost all of his contemporaries considering his acumen in building bridges between avoidable gaps in the political terrain of the country.
Hon Tafoki further noted that the new SGF, George Akume has continued to play the role of political sheriff to ensure that every political unit or enclave is carried along to participate in the growth and development of the nation.
He urged Nigerians especially the public and political appointees to rally round the SGF for maximum value to the people and government of Nigeria.
