SOKOTO state Governor Dr Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has tasked members of his cabinet to be committed, purposeful and sincere with vision for ensuring a transformed Sokoto state.
He also urged them to be free and contribute to the success of the administration.
Aliyu Sokoto said on Wednesday at the commencement of the 3rd weekly state executive council meeting in Sokoto.
According to Aliyu Sokoto” I can’t do it alone, we should collectively work towards reaching the dream land and destination for the success of the state”, he charged.
While noting that his administration was on course in fulfilment of its campaign promises to the people of the state , the governor stressed that the state was fast undergoing robust transformation in so many respects.
” We particularly promised to have a new Sokoto state and today we are seeing the transformation.
” The Exco is a platform for discussing relevant issues , proffer solutions with direct bearing on the lives of Sokoto people.
” Thank God for making us discuss and take decisions in the best interest of Sokoto people”
The governor also seized the space to thank and congratulate the efforts by his administration for recording some feat within the shortest possible time adding that ” I wish to congratulate us for the remarkable responses so far from within and outside the state portraying our successes in positive light “, he stated.
