Former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (Rtd) is expected to deliver the Keynote address at the 10th Edition, Authentic News Daily Awards/Lectures.
Buratai, an experienced Army general, who has been the longest serving Army Chief in Nigeria, has graciously accepted to present the Keynote address, after receiving an official letter on Monday April 28.
The letter signed by the chairman Organizing Committee, AMOS Ebute Mathew, dated Friday April 25, informed him that the award ceremony is billed for the Auditorium Hall, Arewa House Kaduna on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
It informed that Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu is expected to be present, where she would be presented with the prestigious Authentic Woman of The Year 2024 Award.
It also informed that it would have as its theme, “RELIGION AS A TOOL FOR PEACE AND NATIONAL UNITY”.
Papers to be presented at the lecture based on the theme, include, Reverend Joseph John Hayab, Chairman CAN 19 Northern States and FCT (Christian perspective).
Sheik Halliru Abdulahi Maraya, Islamic Cleric and Northern Coordinator Global Peace Foundation Nigeria.(Islamic perspective), while the NSA, Nuhu Ribadu (Government perspective).
The award and lecture is expected to attract captains of industry, Political and religious leaders from across Nigeria.
