CDHR KADUNA STATE BRANCH STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE KILLING OF INNOCENT CITIZENS IN MANGU, PLATEAU STATE

The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), Kaduna State Branch, is deeply shocked and grieved by the tragic and senseless killing of twelve (12) innocent citizens of Kaduna State in the troubled Mangun District of Mangu Local Government Area, Plateau State.

In a statement Signed by COMRADE ALI ATTAHIRU CHAIRMAN, CDHR
KADUNA STATE BRANCH made available to news men revealed that.
“We also wish to acknowledge the eleven (11) other victims who sustained various degrees of injuries in this horrific attack”.

The CDHR Committee is strongly and unequivocally condemn the reprehensible act if brutality.

 The committee said  recurring cycle of violence and senseless killings must come to an end for peace and unity.
 CDHR has also called on Govetnment to do all it can to fish out of  perpetrators of this barbaric and cowardly act must be thoroughly investigated, arrested, and brought to justice without further delay. Impunity must not prevail.

“We call upon the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, to take immediate and decisive action to protect the lives and property of all citizens residing in the state and to ensure that such heinous crimes do not go unpunished. The people deserve nothing less than security, justice, and lasting peace”.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones. No one deserves to endure such pain and loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time, and we wish a speedy and full recovery to all the injured.

The CDHR Kaduna State Branch reaffirms its commitment to upholding the fundamental human rights of all citizens and will continue to advocate for justice, peace, and the security of every Nigerian.
