District Head of Karonmajigi receives peace Ambassador’s award

Alhaji Yunusa Bako Abdullahi, the District Head of Karonmajigi in AMAC, Abuja has been honoured with Peace Ambassador’s award.

 

 

 

The award was presented to him by the Publisher of Glamour International Magazine, Mr John Ehi Ikpea at the palace of the District Head along Umaru Musa Yar’adua Highway -Airport Road- Abuja.

 

 

According to him, “Glamour International Magazine considers presenting Peace Ambassador’s Award to the royal father of Karonmajigi Community, Alhaji Yunusa Bako Abdullahi for his leadership qualities in fostering peace and tranquility to his subjects irrespective of their different backgrounds.

 

 

“We are soliciting for the people of this community to continue supporting the royal father for him to continue the good work of enhancing peace and tolerance for the development of the community, FCT and Nigeria in general.” He said.

 

 

 

In her remark, officer in charge of Katronmajigi Police outpost, ASP Nisime Imeh, said that the awarded is timely as the District Head has been applying wisdom to rule his people by setting disputes amicably.

 

 

Many people including religious, ethnic, youth and women leaders extolled the virtues of Alhaji Yunusa Bako Abdullahi for his zeal in enhancing peaceful coexistence within his people.

 

 

In his remarks, the district head said that, “I am calling on my people to continue supporting me and my council to continue serving them for the growth and development of the community. Without the support of my people, I will not achieve this landmark” said Alhaji Yunusa Bako Abdullahi.
