The Management of Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority(KASUPDA) has paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli in his palace in Zaria.

A statement issued by the Assistant Director, Public Affairs Unit of the Authority, Nuhu Garba Dan’ayamaka stated that the visit was led by the Director General of the Authority, Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya, Ph.D .
In his address, the Emir, Amb. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged the commitment of the emirate to work with the Authority for achieving the set-objectives. He said this, will enable resolving issues and assist on achieving the Authority’s mandates.
The Emir explained that issue of Rigasa area which is facing problem of lack of proper planning for the provision of social facilities, issue of Danmagaji modern market construction concerning the building of two mosques of different sects and issue of destruction of Ganuwa(Demarcation of the Asian City of Zazzau) by individuals who were using the sand for construction as well as developments within the area were source of serious concern, emphasising the need for obtaining building approval.
He stressed that communication gap has lead to so many issues and called for awareness campaign, sensitization and educating the general public on the operation of such Government organisation to addressed issues.
While praying for the Almighty Allah’s assistance, guidance and protection for the success of DG’s tenure, the Emir advised him to carry every body alone and to ensure that staff give their best irrespective of their educational qualifications.
Earlier in his speech, the Director General of the Authority, Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya, Ph.D stated that the courtesy visit to the Emir was to solicited for his advice, usual co-operation and support to the Authority as well as to inform the Emir on the ‘Public Complaint’s Week” programme scheduled to hold in Zaria.
The DG added that a similar visits was also paid to some District Heads such as Rigachikun Rigasa and Kujama as part of effort to sensitize the public on the activities of KASUPDA.
