Hon. Wilson Iliya Yangye, Garkuwan Ghauta, and Senior Special Assistant (Political Matters) office of the Deputy Governor, donated bags of fertilizers to be shared to farmers in the local government, particularly, the vulnerable ones in the community.
While handing over the items to the Chairman of the distribution committee, headed by Cecilia Musa, at the Amijon Nigeria Ltd. Warehouse, Garaje Kafanchan, he expressed his concern over the perennial plight of farmers in the local government, hoping that his “widows mite” would be judiciously shared, to alleviate their plight, in the small way that it could, as he charged the people to continue to be law abiding, observing all public regulations, particularly, as it relates to government’s Covid-19 guidelines and ordinances in the state
Recently, Garkuwa Wilson Iliya who is currently sponsoring a five-A-Side competition which cuts across Sanga and Jema’a LGAs, but was suspended due to the Covid-19 lockdown, donated cash to Jema’a local government Covid-19 fund.
