After having the competition of 17 football clubs to win the KOSI Modukwe Memorial Cup at Hamada Radio playing ground “Stadium” which was established by Abdallah Yusuf Mamman to help young people who are physically fit in who are developing and are interested in playing the game, football.
JKD Academy won against the Young Pillars football club in the last game they played at the Murtala square football stadium in Kaduna city.
The two clubs competed to become the champion of the KOSI Madukwe tournament, which Abdallah Yusuf Mamman named the winners of the tournament in memory of his friend who passed away and this trophy was played for the first time as the one who named it.
As we got the news from the person who placed the cup, Abdullah Yusuf Mamman, said that there were 17 clubs that participated in the under-15 football club, but after the competition between them, there were two clubs that they made it to the finals where JKD Academy and Young Pillars played in the final and after a penalty kicks, the victory was confirmed for JKD Academy in Kaduna.
The last match which was played at the Murtala Square Stadium in Kaduna was attended by former Nigerian football players who came from Kaduna in the north of the country including Dahiru Sadi, Ali Nayara and other important people. Football experts such as Mohammad Sani, the head of Kaduna State referees, Abdallah Yusuf Mamman’s brothers, Male and Female, and many others.
Speaking from his mouth, the former football player Ali Nayara expressed his happiness with the way he saw the children playing and he said that there will be future players in football in the future.
But Ali Nayara called on the Kaduna State Government to create a great football club in the State so that everyone will be proud of it especially among the youth.
While talking to the media shortly after the end of the competition, Abdallah Yusuf Mamman, who presented the trophy, promised that he will continue presenting trophies so that many young people can compete in the future.
Abdallah went on to explain that he is calling on the whole community to help the youth who play football so that if God has placed them there on football as the way to eat on earth as the youth, then only the success will be confirmed and they will have a chance.
He also thanked all the dignitaries who participated in the competition who contributed so that the children who play in the future will want to be like those who played the game in the past and the world knows about their current status.
