Kaduna State Organizes Employee Performance Management System For Public Service Delivery

…Only Kaduna state Government have open government policy

Shehu Mohammad is a director training and Labour matters at the office of head of service Kaduna state has described a workshop organised by Kaduna state government as a way to have the actual employee performance for better Kaduna state.

Director training and Labour matters Shehu Mohammad said they are training workers in the state just as a continuation of their mandate toward a delivery of Government policy that is why they are boosting the capacity of workers in the state, now is a programme of all directors of all MDAs in the state for the new performance management system of employee that are going to be on board very soon”.

“As every one is aware in the past government is using the old system of APER to have the performance of all workers from MDAs but now in view of the policy of present administration, soon the old system is moving out with the new one which is going to give the best performance of the civil servants in the state, is call the new performance management system to replace the old annual APER system”.

Bashir Mohammad mni, perm sec ministry for budget and economic planning that presents a paper during the training said the new system performance managemant is better than the old one.

Monitoring the performance if workers in Nigeria during working places, is better to give workers jobs to do so that at the end you can have what is called Servicom that before now is performance of a worker example like Employyee performance Appraisal Form to present a worker performance

” As we all know in every ministry there is a performance box that no worker can open it except the commissioner that can read about complains on every one in the minstry, so also to every Ministry and Government agencies.

“We are not discarding  the APER system completely but we can maintain some part of it”, bashir revealed during the training.

According to one of the participants from the ministry of justice  Mr Irimiya Magaji Samson, a director public prosecution described the training as a long over due that they have been waiting since for a single reason that is going to increase the productivity of workers that is why the new system is well come
