Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) has commenced the distribution of the demand notices for the outdoor advertisements in the state.
In a statement Signed by Nuhu Garba Dan’ayamaka, MNIPR (Assistant Director, Public Affairs Unit), KASUPDA made available to news men in Kaduna revealed that.
He explained that the distribution of the notices followed after it launched by the Director General of the Authority, Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya, Ph.d in the month of December, 2024.
The launched and distribution of the demand notices were in line with the Kaduna State Tax Codification and Consolidation Law, 2020 as amended which gave KASUPDA the mandate to approve and collect mobile adverts, all outdoor activities, signage and telecommunication masts revenue in the state , the release added.
According to the statement, all outdoor adverts users for bill-boards,sign-boards and other signage issued with the notices were advised to make their payment to KASUPDA by login to kasupda.osoftpay. net and generate payment reference No. then proceed to www paykaduna. com and make the payment or come to KASUPDA’s Office at No.4 Bida Road, Kaduna or Zonal offices at Kafanchan, Zaria, kwai and Saminaka nearest to you.
The Authority is hereby soliciting for the support and co-operation of the general public, especially those for outdoor adverts by ensuring prompt payment to bill as at when due.
Appropriate action will be taken to those who refused to adhere with the directive, as stipulated by the Law accordingly, the statement noted
