REQUEST FOR DETAILS OF WIDOWS OF DEPARTED AND AILING COMRADES – WE CARE PROJECT

I bring you fraternal greetings from the national secretariat of the cdhr.

This is to formally request the cooperation of all Branches of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) in providing details of widows of our departed (deceased) comrades, as well as comrades who are currently ailing or down with serious health challenges, within your respective branches.

This directive is issued by the National President, Comr. ’Yinka Folarin, in line with the WE CARE Project of the new leadership. The project is aimed at extending welfare support, care, and solidarity to the families of our departed comrades and to comrades facing health challenges, in recognition of their sacrifices and commitment to the struggle for human rights.

Accordingly, branches are requested to submit the following information:

For Departed Comrades:

1. Full Name of the departed comrade

2. Years of active membership in CDHR

3. Full name of the widow

4. Unit and Branch of the Departed comrade

5. Attestation by the Branch leadership

*For Ailing Comrades:*

Full name of the Comrade:

Address of the Comrade and phone number:

Years of membership in CDHR

Residential Address

Phone number(s)

All submissions be duly verified to ensure accuracy and credibility and submitted through the General Secretary not later than 27 February 2026

Your prompt response and cooperation in this regard will greatly assist the National Body in the effective implementation of this welfare initiative
