The Special Assistant to Kaduna State Governor on Sports, Hon. Sa’idu Idris Dibis has said former Governor Nasiru Elrufai doesn’t possessed emotional intelligence in view of his controversial nature.
The Uba Sani’s SA made the remarks in an interview with journalists Wednesday at NUJ secretariat in reply to Elrufai’s recent interview with Arise TV, saying that in spite of his cognitive intelligence which no can takes away from him, the man could often decent so low to make public pronouncements that not only disparage his name but create bad blood and unwarranted acrimony.
Hon. Idris Dibis said, it’s becoming obvious that, Ex governor El-rufai behaves like a wounded lion, courting controversy here and there with all manner of people as well as creating enemies he ought not to as politician and a gentleman.
On the NSA Nuhu Ribadu issue, the SA Sport said, El-Rufai is being deceptive despite NSA’s accomplishments in coordinating our nation’s security agencies to minimises insecurity in the many parts of the North, which was not recorded during the last administration, Elrufai is trying to rubbish the NSA’s efforts and create political acrimony between him and the Presidency by announcing an unknown presidential ambition, which he said, it’s uncalled for, deceitful and condemnable.

The SA Sport’s said, Elrufai is politically incorrect to descend on Governor Uba Sani and NSA Nuhu Ribadu and does not have the moral grounds to accuse the APC administration in all respects since he was part and parcel of it from the very beginning. “What if he is made a cabinet minister in Tinubu’ administration, would he makes such utterances? Never. It’s just incredible and shameful that, he is seeking public relevance at a time he is already makes himself most hateful politician in the North Western region of this country.
Hon. Dibis then called upon the public to disregard whatever he said and going to say in a near future, while urging them to understand who truly El-Rufai was and still is, especially the kind of leadership he ran when he held sway as Kaduna State governor from 2015 to 2023.
The SA sports then reminded the public that, El-Rufai should be considered as a political looser whom his efforts demonstrate his perchance to rock the political boat he is onboard, which rationally is self-centredness and parochialism.
“It’s foolhardy that some people are supporting El-Rufai forgetting the emperor-like rule he unleashed on the good people of Kaduna state, as well as his perchance to dictate terms in the Governor Sani’s administration. Whatever he says is out of political frustration because he is ousted from ministerial slot, hence he turned a political dissident from the blues”, he said.
