The twenty five (25) Graduates of the Institut Superieur De Formation Professionnelle ( ISFOP-Benin University), Benin Republic,who were perosnally sponsored by Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko were on Tuesday , in Sokoto, issued with their various Degree Certificates .
All the graduates, including a Lady, had successfully completed.their studies and had either bagged Second Class Honour Degrees, Upper or Lower Divisions .
Ina statement signed by Bashir Rabe Mani, Dan masanin Mani, special assistance on media and Publicity to senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and made available to Journalist in sokoto on Tuesday.
They studied courses including Pure and Applied Biology, Pure and Applied Chemistry, Management Information Technology, Mass Communications, Computer Science and International Relations and Diplomacy.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senator Wamakko, who also represents Sokoto North Senatorial District, said that, education is the best legacy that can be bequathed to the youths .
Accoridng to him, education is the best gift one can be given to make him or her useful to themselves and the society at large .
Represented by a former Religious Affairs Commissioner, Professor Musa Garba Maitafsir, Senator Wamakko promised to sustain the gesture, for life.
The Director of Administration in the Office of Senator Wamakko,Alhaji Almustapha Alkali, said that, hundreds of other students were curently being sponsored by Senator Wamakko, within and outside Nigeria.
Alkali admonished the Graduates to be good Ambassadors of Senator Wamakko, their families , Sokoto State, Nigeria and their Alma Mater .
A spokesman of the Parents , Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar, commended Senator Wamakko for the invaluable gesture and urged other wealthy individuals to emulate him.
A spokesperson of the Graduates, Sani Magaji, also lauded the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defence and Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Anti Corruption and promised to live above board .
