Senator Yar’adua Assists Irrigation Farmers.

Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District has assisted Irrigation farmers with 1,200 bags of fertilizer for this years Irrigation season.

According to the distribution, 10 local government areas benefitted with 100 bags, while Katsina LGA got 200 bags of the commodity.

The Senator has already directed his Monitoring and Evaluation Committee of each of the 11 local government areas across the District to ensure even distribution of the commodity to relevant Irrigation farmers within their domains.

To that effect, Senator Yar’adua charged the Committees to be objective by ensuring that the fertilizer reaches authentic Irrigation farmers in each of the 11 local government areas of the District.

The Senator explained that the assistance became necessary considering the current hash economy being experienced particularly in the North.

He enjoined the beneficiaries to judiciously use the  commodity as expected.
