The President of the National Youth Alliance (NYA), Amb. Aliyu Bin Abbas, has officially appointed His Excellency, Razang-Naaba De NOBERE as the Youth President’s Envoy to Francophone Countries.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Youth President on Media & Publicity, Jacob Onjewu Dickson, dated Tuesday August 26, 2025, which said the appointment is geared towards bolstering the diaspora support to the NYA, ahead the 2027 general elections.
The appointment, announced through the Office of the Youth President, underscores NYA’s growing commitment to strengthening youth-driven Pan-African cooperation across Francophone nations.
In his new role, H.E. Razang-Naaba De NOBERE will: “Strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations with youth organizations, governments, and institutions in Francophone countries.
“Promote NYA’s mission of youth inclusion, women’s empowerment, and Pan-African solidarity.
“Represent the Youth President at high-level meetings, forums, and events within the Francophone region.
“Provide strategic reports and recommendations to enhance cooperation and youth development across Africa.”
Speaking on the appointment, NYA President Amb. Aliyu Bin Abbas emphasized that Africa’s future lies in the hands of its young people and women:
“This appointment reflects our trust in His Excellency Razang-Naaba De NOBERE’s leadership and dedication to youth empowerment. His wealth of experience and passion will contribute immensely to consolidating our Pan-African vision of a united and prosperous Africa.”
The appointment takes immediate effect and is expected to further deepen the Alliance’s engagement with Francophone countries while fostering stronger youth participation in governance, innovation, and peacebuilding.
