The Commandant Depot Nigerian Army Major General Ahmadu Bello Mohammed has paid a familiarization Visit to the His Highness the emir of Zazzau Malam Nuhu Bamali at his Palace in Zaria City.
In a statements issued by Major Everest Ochienta Assistant Director Army Public Relations Depot Nigerian Army on Monday.
The Commandant said the visit was informed after his assumption in office, and he come to seek royal blessing and the corporation of the Zazzau Emirate Council.
Maj Gen AB Mohammed described the visit as a new dawn in the Depot Nigerian Army and Zazzau Emirate Council relationship and promised to harness, improve the existing cordial relationship between Depot Nigerian Army and it’s host.
The Commandant also used the opportunity to convey the condolences of Depot NA to the Zazzau Emirate Council on the recent demise of it’s Council member Alhaji Rilwan Yahaha Pate the Sarkin Yarkin Zazzau.
In his remarks, His Highness the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli. thanked the Commandant and promised to give Depot NA all the necessary support and cooperation in order to continue to carry out it’s mandate.
He further stated that modalities will be set in place in order to sort out other issues of common interest between the Zazzau Emirate and Depot NA.
The highpoint of the visit was the presentation of souvenirs and group photograph to commemorate the Visit.
