The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has commiserated with the people of Niger State and Bida Emirate over the death of former Commissioner of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Babaminin Sule, mni, Lafiyan Nupe who died today, Monday 13th July, 2020 in Minna after a brief illness.
In his condolence message, the SSG described Dr. Sule’s death as a great tragedy and a monumental loss to the State at this very critical period of our history.
Ahmed Matane further explained late Dr. Babaminin Sule was a passionate man, who cared about saving people, adding that the deceased was unrelenting in offering wise counsel for the advancement the State.
He said the late Babaminin Sule was a goal getter who delivered on any assignment committed to his hands because of his belief that service should always come first.
On behalf of the people and Government of Niger State, I commiserate with the immediate family of the deceased on this very huge loss, the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar on the loss of a dependable ally and a loyal council member. May the Almighty Allah (SWT) grant the soul of the departed eternal rest, reward him with Jannatul Firdausi and grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, the statement added.
Until his death, Dr. Ibrahim Babaminin Sule was the Chairman of the Committee investigating the increase in death cases in private health facilities in the State.
Similarly, the Secretary to the State Government, Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has commiserated with the Sarkin Sudan, Kontagora, Ahaji Saidu Namaska and the entire people of Kontagora Emirate over the death of Alhaji Adamu Maifatan Kada who died in Kontagora after a protracted sickness.
The SSG stated that the people and Government of the State expressed shock and sadness over the demise of Maifatan Kada, describing him as dedicated and visionary leader.
He prayed Allah (SWT) to grant the soul of the deceased Aljannah Firdaus and give the immediate family of the late Alhaji Adamu Maifatan Kada the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
