Hon Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki who attended the seating of the Tribunal today in Abuja, congratulated the people and Government of Ebonyi State over the victory of Gov Nwifuru at the Election Petition Tribunal adding that Gov Nwifuru has proven track record for National Development through the advancement of Ebonyi State.
The Tribunal led by Justice Lekan Ogunmoye has dismissed the petition filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Gov Nwifuru for lack of merit.
The three-member panel in Abuja made a unanimous decision because the petitioners failed to prove that Nwifuru was still a member of the PDP when he ran for Governor in the March 18 governorship poll.
