The Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, has expressed shock over the death of Honourable Madami Garba Madami, the member representing Chikun Constituency, in the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
In a statement Signed by Muhammad Lawal Shehu Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kaduna State and made available to news men revealed that
The Governor, who was informed about Hon. Madami’s demise, commiserated with his immediate family and the people of Chikun local Government Constituency, noting that the lawmaker was known for promoting peaceful coexistence and was greatly respected.
Governor Sani prayed to God to grant the soul of Madami eternal rest and comfort his family, associates, friends, and constituents he left behind.
In his lifetime, Madami, served as Member, representing Chikun local Government Constituency,in Kaduna State House of Assembly; Chairman of Chikun Local Government Area; Commissioner of Planning and Budget and Special Adviser Political, to Late Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa.
