I Organized The Football Tournament To Help Youth – Abdallah Yusuf Mamman

From Imrana Abdullahi, Kaduna Northern Nigeria

Abdallah Yusuf Mamman, is a young man who is trying to find ways to improve the lives of young people, which made him think of organizing a football tournament among young people in Kaduna State.

As young Abdallah Yusuf Mamman, told the media that he organized this competition between 16 youth football clubs in Kaduna city to encourage the youth to do the right thing as the youth are the backbone of development.  build a country.

“I thought of organizing this competition to remember a great friend of mine who died in Canada and he is my best friend here in Kaduna where this competition is being held”.

“There are sixteen (16) clubs that started this competition as it was opened in this stadium of Radio and Television of Hamada and there will be one shot and everyone who is scored on the ball will be sent out.  and we will have a final game next week, there will be a final game and awarding of prizes to all the clubs that won the first, second and third places and what is not lost to encourage the young people who participated  competition”.

“We have a system of awarding prizes to the first place winner, one hundred thousand naira (100,000), second place, fifty thousand (50,000) and the first place club, many other prizes.

And another big issue is that playing football helps young people to take them out of the problem of living like this and being idle, instead of living like this there is nothing to do and there will be young people from a young age who are able to play sports.

And that will help the community because the youth will have something to do when they are young.

“I also noticed something in the north of Nigeria, there is a need to have training centers for youth sports like football, which is why I see this. And another big thing is that I traveled with  many countries around the world, so there is no point in hiding the knowledge I have gained in other countries, so I am trying to inform the community of what I know to train the youth”.

Abdallah Yusuf went on to explain that “young people aged between thirteen and eighteen are at risk of falling into other ways if care is not taken to take care of them, such as drinking alcohol and other behaviors, so  This can help the youth to know where they are going in life and benefit and benefit someone or many others in the community.”
