KADCCIMA COMMENDS GOVERNMENT ON FUNDING OF N3.3 BILLION CONTRIBBUTORY PENSION SCHEME AND RELEASE OF KURIGA  ABDUCTED STUDENTS/PUPILS

Following the hugely successful rescue operations of the Kuriga school children and students, we commend and congratulate His

Excellency the Executive Governor and the good people of Kaduna State for the early release of the Kuriga pupils/students recently abducted by gunmen.

No doubt His Excellency is one who matches his words with actions and must be given all the necessary support and cooperation for the State to move forward.

While we congratulate and thank him for such great achievement, we pray that such unfortunate incidence never occur again.

As a matter of fact, the abduction of this young and promising students which took place almost at the eve of Ramadan has been a

traumatic experience for the community and for all the citizens of Kaduna State.

However the prompt action of His Excellencythe Governor as well as

his vow that no stone will be left unturned until all the abducted students are released unhurt gave the necessary hope to all and sundry.

Indeed Governor Uba Sani matched his vow with action which in conjunction with the support of relevant security agencies led to a happy denouement.

We in KADCCIMA wish to join the myriad of well-wishers in applauding the Executive Governor and in rejoicing with the freed children and their families even as we commiserate with the bereaved family of the teacher who lost his life while in captivity.

In the same vein, we wish to commend the laudable effort of His Excellency Senator Uba Sani for keeping to his campaign promises by releasing the sum of N 3.3 Billion to the State Pension Bureau to attend to the beneficiaries. The issue of paying pension to beneficiaries has been a long standing issue in the State.

We are indeed very happy to see that His Excellency Senator Uba Sani is giving this issue the much needed attention it requires.

We sincerely hope that Governor Uba Sani will continue with this trend by taking the right steps at the right time for the overall benefit

of the citizens of Kaduna State.
