According to them the Sweden Quran burning has sparks anger across Muslim world,and hence the need to condemn this ugly attitude while calling on world peace leader’s to look into the situation.
“we as Christian leaders from northern part of Nigeria are not truly happy at all over this ugly incidence and called on world leader to look into the situation ”
“we are equally begging the entire Arab world and the rest of Muslims Universe for forgiveness ”
“we have to condemn this attitude simply because this is not Christianity ”
They called for calm over the recent burning of Holy Quran, as they beg Muslims all over the world for forgiveness and calm.
They equally called on Europeans union EU to as a matter of urgency halt this ugly activities and bring the perpetrators to book, as it’s going to affect world peace
It’s reported that Two men stood outside Stockholm’s central mosque on Wednesday and burned a Quran, following the go-ahead given by a Swedish court, to coincide with the beginning of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
The man who had requested permission for the action, a 37-year-old Iraqi refugee who wants the book banned, tore out pages from the Quran, wiped them on his shoe and set some of them on fire, Swedish public broadcaster SVT said.
