PDP stalwart, former PDP stakeholder chairman of Madakiya ward and onetime House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Yakubu Ishaya has praised Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State for answering the clarion call by the Senator, Representing Kaduna South Senatorial District and the good people of Tsoriyang, Madauchi and Madakiya over the governor’s swift response to reconstruct and rehabilitate the collapsed bridge and deplorable road.
Speaking to press at the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the road in Tsoriyang, yesterday, the grassroot politician thanked the Kaduna State government for the swift intervention and hope that he will continue with the good works he has started across the state and even do more in their community.
“We are all here to show our appreciation and to see for ourselves what the government is doing. We are also calling on all our elected members from Southern Kaduna to be more proactive than reactive,” he exclaimed.
However, he took a swipe on Senator Sunday Marshall Katung by being absent at the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Madauchi-Madakiya-Kafanchan road. According to him, the call on government by the Senator to intervene over the collapsed bridge is not enough. He should have been on the ground for on-spot assessment of the bridge.
