Kaduna state local Government election in Chikun was conducted in peaceful atmosphere, as the returning officer Rido ward, Ibrahim Danjuma Gajere announced the result that the APC Candidate Dangana Habu Boda scored the highest number of votes and having satisfied the requirement of the law declared the winner.
Dangana Habu Boda scored 5,575 votes while Mary G. Galadima of PDP Scored 2,648 votes.
According to the returning officer of Yelwa II, Dr. Emmanuel Kole, announced that the candidate of PDP Ishaku Duchi scored 5,318 votes, having satisfied the requirement of the law declared winner, while Rahab Yahaya of the APC scored 559 votes that was clearly defeated.
In addition the results of the chairmanship election from Rido ward APC scored 5,975, while the PDP scored 2,648 votes and in Yelwa II ward the APC scored 3,962 votes while the PDP scored 1,902 votes.
