Sen. Wamakko felicitates with Ahmed Aliyu, Tafida, Bello, on appointments with FG Agencies 

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defence and Deputy Chairman, Senate on Anti Corruption, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has felicitated with the former Deputy Governor in Sokoto State, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, on his well deserved appointment as the Pioneer Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund.
Ahmed Aliyu was also the Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the 2019 General and Rerun polls, in Sokoto state.
In a statement signed by Bashir Rabe Mani, Dan Masanin Mani,Special Assistant,Media and Publicity, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
Senator Wamakko said: ” The appointment is well deserved,  as Ahmed Aliyu is experienced,  diligent , patriotic and committed  and he will certainly live above board,In Sha Allahu.”
Senator Wamakko, who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District also averred that, the appointment of Ahmed Aliyu is a good omen to the Force and the general security of Nigeria.
Also, Senator Wamakko has congratulated two other notable Chieftains of the APC in Sokoto State, on their recent appointments into the boards of two all-important Agencies of the Federal Government.
They are: Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Tafida, who was appointed as the Commissioner, representing Sokoto State in the Federal Character Commission ( FCC), as well as a retired Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Bello Abubakar Wamakko,who was appointed into the board of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission ( RMAFC).
Senator Wamakko also described the duo as highly experienced and skilled technocrats whose pedigree and penchant for diligence, honesty and hard work are equally impeccable.
He said: ‘” We are also happy with these appointments and we have no any iota of doubt that, they will work relentlesly to bring the direly needed developments and changes into these two key Agencies.”
Senator Wamakko further urged rhe people of the state and Nigerirans to render the needed support and fervent prayers, to ensure the success of the trio of Appointees from Sokoto State.
He also admonished them to guard against complacency, so as to sustain their high level of commitment in dispassionately handling their new national assignments.
