Senator A Yar’adua donates N43.2M To Candidates Of February 2025 Local Councils Elections.

Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District has donated N34.2 M to 11 APC local council Chairmanship top and 116 Councillorship candidates from the 11 LGAs of the Senatorial District.
A statement signed by the Media Aide to the Senator Lawal Gwanda indicated that the occasion was conducted at the Zonal Campaign Office of the Senator in Katsina,  explaining that 11 candidates for local council Chairmanship seats received N11M each, while 116  Councillorship candidates received N200,000 each.
The Senator said the donation was to ease some of their immediate preparations before proper election in February 2025.
The statement added that the Senator  applauded the efforts of the state Governor for sanitising the polity by successfully conducting a consensus system amongst both candidates, claiming that this will ensure sanity and create togetherness as well as boosting the morale of the APC in the state.
Senator Abdul’aziz Yar’adua advised the candidates to ensure sanity while conducting their electioneering campaigns.
The Senator further urged APC leaders in the Senatorial District to organising a smooth campaign system that will ginger the candidates to visit every nooks and crannies of local areas.
While congratulating the candidates for successfully scaling through the consensus system, the Senator reiterated his continued support to the Party towards ensuring success in all endeavours.
Those that spoke at the occasion include APC Katsina Central Zonal Vice Chairman Alhaji Yahaya Asasanta, APC Chairman Katsina LGA Alhaji,Mustapha Musa K/Bai, representative of local councils Chairmanship  candidates Alhaji Kabir Abdullahi Shema and that of Councillorship Candidates Alhaji Ibrahim Bello.
