A befitting Maternal and Child Health Centre constructed by Senator AbdulAziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District at Tsakatsa Village in Charanchi local government area has been handed over to the local council for the promotion of healthcare services to the community
It would be recalled that the Tsakatsa community were subjected to hardship health wise following the absence of health facility.
Considering the situation and efforts to support the mission of Radda administration in promoting healthcare services, the Senator was emphatic to consider the situation out of his constituency projects to constract the MCHC for Tsakatsa community.
The Health Centre which has its Main structure and 8 capacity Maternity ward and all relevant hospital equipment were provided.
Handing over the keys of the MCHC to the Chairman of the local council, the Senator represented by Alhaji Umaru A K said the construction of the health centre was provide succour to Tsakatsa and neighbouring communities in the delivery of healthcare services.
Senator Yar’adua also pointed out that receprocating efforts of the state government in the health sector will add more value to the healthcare services particularly in the rural area which according to him gingered the construction of the health facility at Tsakatsa Village.
While appreciating the Contractor that handled the construction work for providing a state of the art structure, the Chairman and members of his Council for identifying with him, the Senator enjoined Tsakatsa community to utilize the services of the Centre and ensure guarding against vandalisation, this will indeed assist the authority concern to maintaining the Centre accordingly.
In his speech shortly after receiving the keys, the Chairman of the local council Hon. Ibrahim Sani who was represented by his Vice Hon. Aminu Hassan Yan Albasa thanked the Senator for the humanitarian services rendered to his constituents and prayed to Allahu SWT to grant him more courage to continue with the good representation he was elected for.
Hon. Ibrahim Sani however pledged that his Council will construct additional two Wards and to ensure security fence the perimeter of the Health Centre.
The Chairman also congratulated Tsakatsa and neighbouring communities for having a befitting health centre for the improvement of healthcare services and charged them to ensure safety for the centre.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Coordinator to the Senator at the LGA who is also the Secretary of the State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission Hon. Jamilu Abdulsalam Charanchi applauded the Senator for showing much concern on the plight of the rural communities and urged the beneficiaries to ensure judicious utilisation of the facility.
In a vote of thanks, the representative of the Village Head of Tsakatsa commended Senator Yar’adua for the construction of the MCHC which according to him justified the philanthropic nature of the Senator.
