Wamakko attends funeral prayer of late retired AIG Yabo
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence and Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Anti- Corruption, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, was amongst hundreds of sympathizers who attended the funeral prayer of the late retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Tambari Yabo Muhammed, who died today, at the age of 65, at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.
Other important dignitaries that attended the funeral prayer were former the Governor of the old Sokoto State, Malam Yahaya Abdulkarim, Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Executive Secretary, Police Trust Fund and former Sokoto State Deputy Governor, Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, fcna and Ambassador Sahabi Isa Gada.
Others were the sokoto State APC Caretaker Chairman, Alhaji Isa Sadiq Achida, former Sokoto State Grand Khadi, Alhaji Tambari Yabo, Islamic Clerics, ,members of the business community, and politicians, among others.
The funeral prayer was led by the Chief Iman of Yabo Malam, Lema Faruk Iman Yabo.
Speaking shortly after the funeral prayer, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko described the late Tambari Yabo Muhammed as a pious and a very hard working officer, who diligently served for the betterment of his father land.
Wamakko also prayed the Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus.
Special prayers for the repose of the deceased were led by Malam Bashir Gidan Kanawa.
