BAUCHI GOVERNOR APPLAUDS RELIGIOUS LEADERS FOR PREACHING PEACE AND TOLERANCE

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state today applauded religious leaders and groups for preaching the gospel of peace and tolerance among their followers.
The Governor made the commendation at the commissioning of the newly constructed modern Jumaat Mosque for Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) at Kasuwar Shanu, Bauchi.
Governor Bala Mohammed noted with satisfaction, the support of religious groups to his administration and assured them of his constant support .
“Alhamdulillah, I am so much happy that, today we are commissioning our Mosque, i must thank our Ulamas for their support.”
“My administration will continue to support religious groups for peaceful coexistence in our society, but please I want to plead with you not to relent in offering prayers for politicians to succeed.”
The Governor reaffirmed the determination of his administration to welcome constructive criticism and advice from religious leaders for the success of his administration.
Earlier, National Chairman, Council of Ulamas of the group, Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir prayed Almighty Allah to reward Governor Bala Mohammed over the construction of the new modern mosque for the group.
