SYMPATHIZE WITH GOVERNOR MATAWALLE.

 

 

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state in company of His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammed Saad Abubakar lll have commiserated with the Government and people of the Zamfara state over today’s abduction of students of Government Girls Secondary school Jangebe.

 

In a Statement Signed by JAMILU ILIYASU BIRNIN MAGAJI Press Secretary to the Governor of Zamfara state with made available to Journalist revealed that

 

The duo expressed shock over the abduction of female students in Jangebe of Talata-Mafara local government area of Zamfara in the early hours of today.

 

 

Tambuwal who drove into the government house, Gusau to commiserate with his Zamfara counterpart described the act as dastardly, pathetic and an abuse to human dignity.

 

 

He said the people of Sokoto state and indeed all other parts of the country share in the grief, noting that the people carrying out these unfortunate acts should be ashamed of themselves.

 

 

Also in his remarks, Sultan Muhammed Saad Abubakar who was on his way from the Northern Governors Security meeting in Kaduna along with his Governor prayed God to make all criminals better citizens in the country also urged them to always have the fear God in their ways of life.

 

 

Responding, Governor Bello Matawalle thanked them for their concern and brotherliness over the sad incident in the state.

 

 

Matawalle noted that the visit is a further demonstration that both Governors and traditional rulers were working to find a lasting peace in all parts of the country.
