Seven persons have been kidnapped by armed bandits at the staff quarters of National Turberclosis and Leprosy Training Centre, Zaria at the esrly hours of Sunday.
The well armed and cordinated operation have succeded in taken away 5 staff of the Centre and 2 none staff amang the kidnapped victims there are 2 nursing mothers.
According to aconfirmed source told our correspondent that the armed bandits came on a large number around 12.30 am in which they cordoned the area to avoid any re-enforcement.
The Saye Divisional Police headquarters was attacked with several gun shots as well damaged the Division operatioal Hilux Van which recieved more than 10 bullets.
The attack on the Police office is aimed to stop them from going to rescue the victims at the staff quarters were some of the bandits are carrying their operations.
Our source has reliably said, the bandits have targeted the Principal of the Centre who worked yesterday till late hours before closing.
The Principal resident was badly damaged before they could have access to entre inside but he his not there according to the source.
Confirming the incident the Police Public Relations Officer Kaduna State Command ASP Muhammad Jalige said, they have received the report and the Police is investigating the matter.
