After 22years, Katsina man get wheel chair, hails NB Plc staff over generosity

 

A Katsina man, who hails from Malumfashi, Mallam Aminu Gurgu yesterday shared with newsmen how a passer by pick interest in him for always greeting people and being friendly.

 

According to Aminu, he identified the passer by as Danladi John who he later discovered worked for a private firm in Kaduna.

“my luck came when I mate this friend last year in front of Chicken Republic Barnawa, I was always greeting him each time he comes around, he one day asked of my name and as we got talking he just asked while am crippled and not using a wheel chair and I told him I had none. We kept talking each time he comes and just yesterday he gave me the biggest surprise of my life, a wheel chair after almost 22years .”

 

When contacted, Mr. Danladi John of Nigerian Breweries Plc Kaduna who initially decline comment but later spoke after pressure and series of questions from newsmen said ” I got attracted to mallam Aminu because unlike some crippled people who beg for money from anybody, this man will not ask me for money and always greeting me and seeing him crawl the way he does every day breaks my heart, so decided to surprise him with a brand new wheel chair, I honestly pray he utilizes it.

 

Aminu pleaded that good Nigerians who are well to do should always assist the physically challenged People.
