Atiku Splashes Millions On Jigawa Flood Victims, Vows To Construct PDP Ward Secretariat

 

 

Top contender for Nigeria’s top job, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Thursday, put smiles on faces of residents of Dabi Town, Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

Atiku, who is the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), ahead of the 2023 general elections, doled out cash as support to flood victims of the community.

A statement signed by the National Director Media and Publicity, Atiku Care Foundation (ACF), Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, said that the DG ACF, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas made the presentation of the cash on behalf of his boss.

It explained that the ACF DG, told the flood victims that if elected in 2023, Atiku would ensure that measures are put in place to prevent flood, which brings untold hardship on innocent Nigerians.

“Though flood is a natural disaster, the Almighty has given man knowledge to prevent its effect on our society.

” Insha Allah, if Alhaji Atiku Abukakar GCON is voted into power in 2023, welfare of Nigerians in all parts of the country would be accorded priority,” Ambassador Abbas, who is also the SA on Youth to Atiku, said.

Similarly, after taken a tour of the town, during a visit to the District Head, Atiku’s representative assured that the ward secretariat would be built up from the scratch.

” I am delighted by your commitment and zeal to ensure PDP reclaims power in 2023. This is in spite of certain challenges you are facing, including using a corrugated roof structure as ward secretariat. Very soon, this will be in the past as His Excellency’, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will build a befitting structure for PDP ward secretariat here,” he assured.

Meanwhile, the Ward Head Dabi town (Dagachin Garin Dabi) Ringim Local Government of Jigawa State, Alhaji Shehu Haruna thanked the delegation of Atiku Abubakar for the visit, while assuring that they would continue praying for leaders with the masses at heart to emerge in 2023.

It was gathered that no fewer than 50 households affected by flood benefitted from the cash gifts from Atiku.
