EFCC Arrests Yahoo Fraudsters In Sokoto

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes  Commission(EFCC), Sokoto state command on Friday confirmed the arrests of 23 alleged internet fraudsters otherwise known as ‘ yahoo yahoo boys.
The anti graft agency also recoverd various items used by the fraudsters following a raid simultaneously carried out by the agency at Bafarawa Estate in Sokoto town and Kwalkwalawa area, Sokoto.
The break-through followed intelligence driven observations along with intensive close monitoring with clear prove that the young men were living above their means with no genuine source of income, hence led operatives of the Commission to swoop and arrest them while investigations continue.

It said the suspects would be charged on completion of investigations
Meanwhile, the anti graft agency command in Sokoto gave the list of the suspects as :Joy Ofem, Azeez .O. Naimot,  Ibrahim Amadu , Aigbekan Daniel, Adedayo Michael , Imran Mubaraq ,Oliyide Habeeblah, Wasiu Lukman Adekunle
and Musa Abdulaziz
Also are: Abdullahi Ibrahim , Adejoh Nebiu Muhammad, Ibrahim Mubarak, Ahmed Ibrahim Abdullahi, Abdullahi Senusi Adejoh, Umar Idris and Muhammad Nuhu.
Others include:
Faisal Ahmed, Aliyu Ismail, Elijah Adebayo,
Abubakar Bashir, Sakariya Ibrahim, Balogun Abdulayyan and Buni Husaini respectively.
The Commission said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations were concluded.
Items recovered the Commission said include: Red Corolla Sport 2009,
White Corolla 2015
models.
Also recovered from the syndicate were: 16 different laptops,1 Generator, 30 different phone and 2 MTN Routers.
