Emergence Of Ambassador Bamalli As Emir Of Zazzau Historic – New Nigerian
The Management and Staff of the New Nigerian Newspapers (NNN) Ltd have described the emergence of the new emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Nuhu Bamalli as historic.
A statement signed by the acting Managing Director of NNN, Alhaji Yusuf Musa Kontagora, made available to newsmen on Sunday congratulated His Royal Highness, Ambassador Bamalli for his emergence.
“Just as New Nigerian Newspapers has remained historic in the country, your emergence as the Emir of Zazzau from the Mallawa Clan after over a 100 years is historic,” it stated.
The statement assured the new Emir of partnering him in ensuring that his rule is successful, calling on others to do same.
“We as a responsible media outfit and the pioneer newspaper publishing outfit in the North will always be available to partner you in spreading the message of peace and peaceful co-existence.
“We call on others who contended for the position and all citizens of the Emirate to cooperate with the new Emir in moving the prestigious Kingdom of Zazzau forward,” it added.
The statement also congratulated Governor Nasir el-Rufai and the Zazzau Kingmakers for the choice of Ambassador Bamalli, describing it as well thought out.
“We wish the new monarch God’s guidance and protection as he rules over one of the biggest Emirates in Nigeria.” It concluded.
