Hon Shu’aibu Wakili offers palliatives to constituents

Hon Shu’aibu Eakili, Member, representing Kafur Constituency at the Katsina State House of Assembly, on Saturday March 23, doled out cash gifts, grains, clothes to his constituents.
The Deputy Governor of the state, Alhaji Faruk Jobe, representing the state governor, eminent personalities in the state, such as State House of Assembly members, Commissioner for Budget, Economic and Planning, Alhaji Bello Kagara; Commissioner for Special Duties, Alhaji Isa Abdullahi  Member representing Malumfashi/Kafur Federal Constituency, Hon. Aminu Ibrahim; Chairman of Kafur LG, Alhaji Garba Ganya, and other prominent politicians in the state graced the occasion.
Items distributed includes: Cash gifts; 500 bags of 5kg Guinea corn, 300 bags of 5kg rice with an inscription: “Ba Cutta Ba Cuttarwa”; 5,000 wrappers for women, already sewn kaftans for the men, among others.
Speaking at the event, held at the Kafur LG Secretariat, the Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Jobe, appreciated the efforts of Hon Wakili for his kind gesture to his constituents, urging other legislators or politicians to emulate him.
“What Wakili did is part of the policy and commitments of Katsina State Government under the able leadership of Dr. Dikko Radda,” he said.
Jobe charged the beneficiaries and the whole people of Kafur LG to reciprocate the kind gesture by embracing each other where there is need for that among themselves.
According to him, the efforts of Hon Wakili came at the most appropriate time of giving succour to the needy – the Ramadan period.
The beneficiaries were selected from the 10 Wards across the LG. Some of those that  benefitted from the gesture includes: Kafur LGA Stakeholders, 23 Village Heads, the National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW); 140 youth, 30/ women, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kafur LG branch, orphanages, among others.
