Kaduna 2023: Dattijo begins LGA tour, meets party leaders

 

Following a formal declaration, on Tuesday, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi (Dattijo) began a two-day tour to Local Governments Areas to meet with party executives and key stakeholders across wards and local government levels of the party to seek for their support ahead of party primaries.

Already, Dattijo and his team had visited seven local government areas of Zone l senatorial district including Lere, Kubau, Ikara and Soba Local Government Areas on Wednesday.

And on the second day, the team toured Sabon Gari, Kudan and Makarfi Local Government Areas, on Thursday. It will be recalled, Dattijo had earlier met with excos and stakeholders from Zaria local government area.

While in Lere, the Dattijo team began with a royal visit to their Royal Highnesses the Emir of Lere, Engr. Suleiman Umar Lere and Emir of Saminaka, Hon Muhammadu Sani, both of whom offered prayers and blessings for the aspirant.

Addressing a mammoth crowd, Muhammad Sani Dattijo eloquently thanked party members for their consistent support to the current APC led administration over the years.

Dattijo then urged them support his aspiration in order to consolidate on the achievements of Gov Nasir El-Rufai.

Dattijo also advised party members to remain united and loyal to the party and Gov NasirEl-Rufai.

According to Dattijo, ‘the party is supreme and above our personal aspirations, therefore every member must be consistently loyal to the party under the leadership of our leader, Malam Nasir El-Rufai”

The enthusiastic party executives and party leaders and critical stakeholders from the Local Government and Ward levels across the 7 LGAs declared support for the aspiration of Muhammad Sani Dattijo.

The tour is scheduled to continue next week with similar visits to other local government areas across Zones Il and lll of Kaduna State.
