Media Applauds Uba Sani’s Inclusive, People-First Governance Kaduna State

 

Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has received commendation for his compassionate and inclusive approach to governance, with media leaders noting improved social cohesion and renewed public confidence across the state.

The commendation came during a courtesy visit by the Kaduna State Commissioner of Information, Hon. Ahmed Maiyaki, to Invicta FM, Kaduna. The station’s General Manager, Mr. Toyin Alabi, praised the administration for promoting unity and healing in a state long challenged by social divisions.

Mr. Alabi described Governor Uba Sani’s leadership as people-centred, noting that policies anchored on fairness, dialogue, and inclusion have helped rebuild trust among citizens.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Maiyaki emphasized the critical role of the media in sustaining accountable governance and keeping citizens informed on government policies and programmes. He commended Invicta FM for its professionalism and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with credible media organisations.

The Commissioner urged journalists to uphold accuracy and balance in their reporting, stressing that responsible journalism is vital in combating misinformation and strengthening public trust.

He further highlighted the administration’s focus on youth and women empowerment, as well as interventions for marginalized communities, describing compassion and equity as central to Governor Uba Sani’s development agenda.

The visit underscored the shared commitment between the Kaduna State Government and the media to fostering an informed and engaged citizenry, reinforcing the administration’s transparent and forward-looking approach to governance.
