Bala M Salisu Ph.D. was born on 1st January 1970 in Zango Local Government Area of Katsina State. He obtained a Diploma in Languages from Katsina Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Bayero University Kano respectively.
He bagged two Master’s Degrees in Public Relations and MSc in Mass Communication from Bayero University Kano. Bala Zango is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Mass Communication. He has worked for 32 years in the civil service as Information Officer. Retired as a Director of Education and Social Services at Local Governments Service Commission, Katsina State. He is currently working as a lecturer at Maryam Abacha American University of Niger, and Kano Nigeria, as a senior lecturer.
His political carrier started in labour unionism in 1991, when he served two-time as Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Zango Local Government. Furthermore, he participated in student unionism as Chairman Caretaker Committee, Katsina State Students Association, BUK Chapter.
