The President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated the popular Nigerian actor and Producer, Ali Nuhu on his appointment as the Managing Director, Nigerian Film Corporation.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement personally signed by Prof. Gwarzo and issued to newsmen in Kano on Friday.
Prof. Gwarzo describes the appointment of the renowned actor as a well deserved appointment in view of his tremendous contribution to the movie industry in the country.
He expressed optimism that with his wealth of experience, talents and skills, the acclaimed Nollywood actor will take the corporation to greater heights.
“President Tinubu has appointed the right person to head the Corporation, considering the fact that Ali Nuhu is a Director, Script writer as well as a Choreographer, who made a great impact in the Kannywood industry.
“On behalf of myself and Maryam Abacha American University conglomerate, I wish to join other Nigerians in congratulating you on this appointment,” Prof. Gwarzo said in the statement.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to guide the new MD of the Film Corporation to discharge his new assignment diligently with a view to taking the Corporation to the next level.
