UDUS Governing Council extends Registrar’s appointment

The authorities of the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has extended the appointment of its Registrar, Malam Nurudeen Abubakar Bello.

The development followed approval of the University’s Governing Council, a statement Tuesday by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Isma’ila Mohamed Yauri said.

The extension is by one year in line with the Universities Miscellaneous Provisions (Amendment ) Act, 2012.

In the same vein, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Lawal Suleiman Bilbis has on behalf of the University’s community , congratulated Malam Nurudeen Abubakar on the extension of his appointment.

Bilbis also urged Abubakar to redouble efforts at discharging his responsibilities to the University during the one year extension.
