Ahmad Aliyu Appoints Abubakar Bawa As Press Secretary 

Sokoto state Governor-Elect, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has made his first appointment with the  appointment of Malam Abubakar Bawa as Press Secretary Government House , Sokoto.

Bawa a former staff of the Nigerian Television Authority, Sokoto Zonal Centre, had served as Aliyu Sokoto’s Director Press while as deputy governor.

The appointment which takes immediate effect, was contained in a three paragraphed statement signed and issued to reporters in SokotoThursday by Ibrahim Dadi Adare , Secretary , Sokoto state APC Transition Committee.

While congratulating the appointee, the Governor – Elect charged him ( Bawa) to bring to fore, his wealth of experience and ensure government policies and programmes were adequately publicized.

Meanwhile, preparations by the  Sokoto All Progressives Congress  are ongoing towards Monday May 29th hand over ceremonies.
