Constituency Projects: Bade/Jakusko Constituents Commends Hon. Ya’u Galadima

The constituents commend the member house of representative, representing Bade/Jakusko from Yobe, Hon. Zakari Ya’u Galadima on his efforts to provide developmental projects to the constituency, the gusture related to improvement of life and welfare of the people in various fields.

The people expressed satisfied the way Hon. Galadima used to calls attention of Federal Government to executes important projects for the betterment and development of the area and to improve the lives of people and their economy.

The people disclosed this when Hon. Galadima launched empowerment of pump water machines to support irrigation farmars in the area to develop agricultural activities and women with refrigerators for self-employment, last week in Gashu’a and Jakusko.

Those who benefited expressed gratitude for the efforts of Hon. Galadima in bringing these supports with showing that the gestures will enhance their well-being in terms of improving business and agriculture’s activities in the area. They added, “These has come at the right time as a result of the floods destroyed thousands of our farmlands and houses. We are very grateful for this support.”

Hon. Ya’u Galadima empowered 50 farmars with pump watar machines to improve agricultural activities and food security in the area, 50 refrigerators to women so that they can have self-employment.

Forthemore, in tried to prevent his people from being in the dark by installing 40 solar street lights in a different places in Bade/Jakusko; installation of solar power in Gwio Kura, providing seven (7) boreholes with solar energy to the communities of his constituency.

In addition, he gave hundreds of young people (male and female) training for capacity building in different occupations for self-reliance, empowered hundreds of women with sewing machines and knitting machines and financial support to start small self-reliant businesses.

The constituents described the member’s effort of providing jobs for the youth as a big vision, scholarship, supporting education and putting the youth on a tight direction and curbing unemployment in the area, as commendable.

On the other hand, Hon. Ya’u Galadima has built a new ICT Center in Amshi town to connect the region with world in modern communication..
